Method 2: Using a Web Browser


1. Power Up:  Following step 1 from the WPS method, plug in your extender and wait for the Power LED to turn solid green.


2. Connect to the Extender's Network (Optional):  Using a Wi-Fi enabled device (laptop, smartphone, tablet), locate the Wi-Fi network name broadcasted by your extender (it typically includes the extender model name followed by "_EXT").  Connect to this network using the default password (usually printed on the extender's label).

    Android: You can also access the extender's IP address directly.  To find the IP address, log in to your router's admin panel and look for a list of connected devices.  The extender's IP address should be displayed in the list.  Enter this IP address in the address bar of your web browser.


5. Login: You'll be prompted to enter a username and password.  The default username is typically "admin" and the password is printed on the extender's label.
